Vijay "Don" Khanna has retired from his life of crime and has relocated to Amsterdam with his wife Jessica for eight months where he plans to enjoy their marriage without resorting to violence. However, with the law on his tail and the police hot on his trail, he is forced to come out of retirement to finish off an aging mafia don who has lost touch with reality. The story opens with introduction of Aryan (Arya Babbar) who is son of Shetty. Aryan is with his father's gangster friends all the time. He takes interest in crime and wants to be like them when he grows up, but his father (played by Aditya Pancholi) does not allow him to have any association with criminals. As he grows up, he falls in love with Shalu (played by Vidya Malvade), daughter of Rajan Verma, a powerful politician. Rajan is the only person who can foil Vijay Khanna's plans. Rajan knows that Vijay, being so powerful, will have to come back to India one day to take revenge on him. Therefore, he decides not to let anyone know about his daughter so that he can lead a safe life with her. When Aryan tries to woo Shalu, her father threatens him of dire consequences if he ever tries something like this again. On the other hand, Rajan doesn't approve of his daughter's engagement with Aryan. Therefore, Shalu breaks up with Aryan. Aryan tries to woo Shalu again by writing a letter to her through his friend. When Rajan reads the letter, he calls Aryan to his house and asks him about it. He is surprised when he realizes that it is written by his daughter. Rajan confronts Shalu who tells him that she loves Aryan very much but her father will never approve them because of their different backgrounds. She also tells him that she wants to run away with her beloved Aryan but she cannot do this because of her father who has threatened Aryan of serious consequences if he ever tried to see her again.. On the other side, Aryan comes to know from his father's gangster friends that someone is threatening Rajan Verma. Aryan wants to know who this person is. His father tells him that only a powerful person in India can threaten Rajan in a way that he needs to see in person. He tells him that it is none other than Don, the powerful Don. Aryan wants to meet this man and he goes to Amsterdam where he meets Don and his wife Jessica who have settled there so that Vijay could continue with his peaceful life.
